Choosing a hydraulic breaker for a mini excavator comes down to three numbers: carrier weight, hydraulic flow, and operating pressure. Match the breaker’s nominal class to your machine’s hydraulic output, and you get reliable demolition; mismatch it and you get slow performance or expensive damage to both the breaker and the machine.

Match by machine weight

Breakers are classified by the carrier weight they are designed for. A breaker too large for the machine will struggle to keep the hammer running and may crack the boom.
